Its official, Fall is here! So its now or never, guys. Time to incorporate some of the newest Fall trends into your wardrobe. Here are just a few of my favorite looks for Fall 2014.

Shirt & Tie-less

That’s right, time to replace that same old shirt and tie combo for a more sophisticated suit look. Mr.Owens pulls this look off so effortlessly in shades of grey but no need for head to toe matching. Just grab any neutral crewneck sweater and throw it on under your basic grey or navy suit. You can also try adding it over a button up, shirttail un-tucked for an even more stylish look.

Sharp Tip- make sure to pick a light weight sweater that fits slightly on the snug side so it doesn’t look too bulky under your suit jacket.

Suited & Booted

Okay, I know what you’re thinking…boots with suits, really? The answer is, yes! Lets face it, you are tired of leaping over slush-filled curbs in your dress shoes. This year’s winter weather will be no better. So try throwing on a pair of boots instead, either a dressed up boot style or even a more rugged style like the ones above. Both will kick it up a notch.

Sharp Tip- might be time to update that pair from a few seasons back, check out these lace ups from the Frye Company or this Chelsea style pair from H&M for only $99.

Get Layered

Instead of just throwing on a heavy, bulky coat this season, why not try layering. Just start with a simple button up then throw on your favorite cardigan or long sleeve crew, layer it with a sportcoat and top it all off with a down vest. That’s it, no need to overcomplicate this one.

Sharp Tip -make sure your pieces aren’t too baggy to avoid from looking sloppy when you layer one piece on top of another.

Fashion trends come and go, lets hope these few stick around for awhile.
